About Us

​Sullivan Agency was established in 1981 by John and Cathy’s parents, Harold and Joyce Sullivan, with the inception of Federal Crop Insurance.  It was run out of their home for many years until it was moved to Fullerton in 1994.  Cathy joined the agency in 1991 and John in 1994.  The business was purchased by John and Cathy in 2004.  By continuing to provide the same customer service as their parents they have been able to grow the business year after year.

Prided on the fact of a family owned business, Cathy’s daughter Melissa Crouse joined the agency in 2009 and is involved in all areas of the business.  John and Cathy had the opportunity to purchase Bowman Insurance in 2010, enabling them to provide customers with many other lines of insurance including auto, home, farm, commercial, health and life.  Derek Smith joined the team in 2016.  His primary focus is Property & Casualty Insurance, but also helps with all areas of the business.  Additionally, John’s wife Chris helps in the agency during busy times of the year.
